The main role of a wound care practitioner is to help patients who need to bandage and change their wounds so that they can start healing. They will also make sure that they bandage the wound properly so that they prevent any chance of an infection happening. They absolutely have to do this, because obviously a wound that doesn’t heal can cause blood clots, skin removal, limb amputation, and it can cause the death of the patient.
